What is Bitcoin Pizza Day?
On May 22, 2010, an early Bitcoiner named Laszlo Hanyecz agreed to pay 10,000 Bitcoins for two Papa John’s pizzas to be delivered in the USA. Hanyecz is subsequently known as the first person to ever use Bitcoin in a commercial transaction. As a result, May 22 is now known as Bitcoin Pizza Day to commemorate this landmark crypto purchase!
*1 year’s supply of pizza is equivalent to 1 pizza voucher per week for the year (52 pizzas) with Dominos Australia, delivered. All 52 codes are for the same offer, valued for 12 months from the date of creation.
