History of Bitcoin Pizza Day

On May 22, 2010, an early Bitcoiner named Laszlo Hanyecz agreed to pay 10,000 Bitcoins for two delivered Papa John’s pizzas. Hanyecz is known as the first person to use Bitcoin in a commercial transaction. 

The day is now known as Bitcoin Pizza Day; with one whole Bitcoin hovering around $50k AUD, the two pizzas would be worth $500 Millon AUD today.
