A note from our founders

We launched Swyftx in 2019 because we wanted to do better - to provide a simple and secure place for our customers to buy, sell and trade crypto. Since then, the market has fluctuated and consumer sentiment has toggled between optimistic and cautious, however our founding values have not and will never change.

We understand that talking about our values and verifying them through transparency and action are two separate things. That's why we have created this page, to transparently communicate with you, our valued customers. Here, you can stay in the loop with risk & security projects we're working on, where we're heading and most importantly how we're keeping our customers and the Swyftx platform safe.

Conversations on regulation

Our executive and legal team are working alongside relevant stakeholders toward the implementation of cryptocurrency regulation & legislation in Australia. As these conversations continue to take place, we're self-regulating alongside other Australian crypto leaders and with the support of Blockchain Australia. Here’s what we're committing to:

Customer balances are held on a 1:1 basis,
We do not trade customer balances,
We are not susceptible to running out of liquid funds for customer withdrawals, and
Customer assets are not lent to any third party.

To verify this commitment, we will be conducting annual audits of the customer assets we hold and will publicly provide a self-attestation to verify the above commitment. Read the full statement via Blockchain Australia.
