LeverFi (Formerly Ramp) is a decentralised protocol that aims to improve DeFi adoption by allowing non-Ethereum blockchains to stake their tokens on ETH-powered platforms. LeverFi allows the stake assets of non-ERC20 staking blockchains to be collateralized into a stablecoin issued on the Ethereum platform known as rUSD. The main benefit of this is the maximisation of the capital efficiency stacked on digital assets, where users can unlock liquidity from staked assets, earn staking rewards, and yield farming opportunities.
LEVER is the native utility token for the LeverFi platform and it performs a number of functions. Its main function is that it’s used as collateral into rUSD stablecoins, which can then be deployed into DeFi yield protocols for additional returns. The token is also used for community governance, token farming and liquidity mining.
