Golem is a decentralized, open source supercomputer - where anyone is able to access high throughput computational power, through combined networks of supercomputers and data facilities.
Golem has a robust and flexible capacity for activities, which can be utilized from computer generated imaging (CGI) to scientific modelling. Anyone is able to join the network and be rewarded GLM tokens for by the requesting party, to access their computational power.
These computations take place in a void that is detached from the host’s system, ensuring the ongoing security of those parties providing the network’s resources. The ecosystem is run using the Ethereum network.
