About Rocket Pool (RPL)

Rocket Pool is a decentralised staking pool for Ethereum that offers users up to 4.33% APR for staking ETH2. Users can participate by joining the pool's decentralised node operator network or by running their own nodes with 16 ETH.  

When running their own nodes, users can earn commissions from staking ETH and additional RPL rewards, resulting in a potential APR of up to 6.36%. Additionally, Rocket Pool offers liquid staking, which allows users to benefit from an increasing exchange rate instead of being subject to taxable rebasing. The pool also offers smart nodes, which are custom node software that allows anyone to run a node on the network. This feature minimiszes users' risk of facing penalties by socialising losses from bad nodes across the network. The pool's open-source and audited smart contracts ensure fully non-custodial staking and maximum decentralisation.
