Built atop the Solana blockchain, like most other meme coins, Fartcoin doesn’t offer significant real-world utility. Rather, the digital currency leverages the objectively comical nature of flatulence to build a community united in their adoration for breaking wind.
For example, on-chain transactions made using Fartcoin incur a small gas fee. However, unlike other cryptocurrencies where gas fees are typically silent but deadly, payments made on Fartcoin come with a ‘gassy’ fee, which triggers an associated sound effect.
