AIOZ is a blockchain-based platform that supports the development of decentralised solutions for Web3 storage, AI computing, live streaming, video on demand (VOD) and more. It was created by a company of the same name and is currently led by CEO Erman Tjiputra.
The network, launched in 2017, is one of the largest Decentralised Physical Infrastructure Networks (DePIN), an innovative field that blends blockchain technology with real-world physical infrastructure.
Built on the Cosmos ecosystem, AIOZ is a Layer 1 blockchain with compatibility for the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Binance Smart Chain (BEP). It employs a Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism through Tendermint, and can process 1,400 transactions per second (TPS).
The network operates using a Decentralised Content Delivery Network (dCDN) powered by over 94,000 peer-to-peer nodes, primarily located in Europe. Nodes contribute computing resources and earn AIOZ tokens as a reward.
AIOZ is an ERC-20 inflationary token that plays a key role in the AIOZ Network. The team allocated 53% of tokens for ecosystem growth, followed by:
- 25% for the team
- 5% each for advisors and marketing
- 3% for exchange liquidity provision
- 7.3% for private sales
- 1.7% for public sales
